A spot illustration I did for the upcoming issue of a magazine called the Instigatorzine. http://www.instigatorzine.com/ I couldn't decide on a final so I submitted two color variations to one of the editors.
I'm not digging the couple in the middle, and I think it's because it's not detailed as the background regarding line work. After reading the poem, I get the contrast but it's not working and maybe the fact they're in the middle bothers me... i don't know, hopefully this was helpful...
